About This Blog

I began as President & CEO of Feed The Children on June 4, 2012 and I’m beginning this blog exactly one year later. I’m writing because I feel I have a story to tell. But more importantly, I believe Feed The Children has a story to tell. We are an organization on a mission to transform the way hunger needs are met around the world.

The more I invest myself in Feed The Children and reflect upon experiences I’ve had leading other organizations, the more I learn that the traditional models of leadership simply won’t cut it in today’s changing world. I’ve named this blog, “Adaptive CEO” because I believe my tenure at Feed The Children will be just this– a journey of learning to change and change well as we seek to fulfill our mission each day.

Along the way, I hope to share the lessons I’ve learned and provide a different perspective on countless topics that affect the nonprofit sector, international relief and development work as well as the faith-based and religious nonprofit sector.

I hope along the way you’ll find something that resonates with you and that you’ll join in the conversation.

Thanks for reading,
